Who should I tell
You don't have to tell anyone until you feel ready to. It's also
entirely up to you who you tell.
Thinking about the reasons why you should tell
someone might help you decide who to tell.
Most people tell trusted friends and close family when they feel
comfortable.
Think carefully about the reasons for telling
your employer or colleagues. People who don't know
anything about Hepatitis C can react with fear. Stigma is the last
thing you need.
You might feel it's responsible to tell people who could be
exposed to your blood, including healthcare workers. As well as
anyone who may have contracted the virus from you before you knew
you were infected.
